6 Count Cross Stitch Kits for Beginners
On this page you'll find a selection of 6 count cross stitch kits for beginners.
All cross stitch kits on this site are counted cross stitch kits.
The designs are worked onto a blank piece of fabric by following a chart.
Symbols on the chart represent each stitch, with different symbols representing different colours of thread.
The simplest kits for beginners are the 6 and 8 count kits. These have just 6 and 8 holes to each inch of fabric, so the holes are quite large, making the designs easy to place and stitch.
11 count and 14 count kits are for the slightly more experienced cross-stitcher. With 11 or 14 holes to the inch, the holes are therefore smaller, producing more stitches within each square inch of fabric.
