EASTER CARDMAKING IDEAS

You will need:

  • A6-size card blanks and other thin card in assorted Spring colours
  • Envelopes and white paper inserts
  • Foam stickers as indicated in the instructions for each project below
  • Pencil, ruler, scissors, glue or double-sided adhesive tape
  • Felt-tip pen or pencil

Project 1

  1. Cut a piece of white card approximately 9.5cm x 13.5cm and stick centrally onto the front of a yellow A6 card blank.

  2. With the card horizontally in front of you (landscape) attach a yellow foam chick sticker to the centre of the card. Then use foam letter stickers in yellow and purple (or colours of your choice) to create the 'Happy Easter' greeting around the chick as shown.
I used the Chicks foam stickers pack (ref CT46) and the Dotty Alphabet foam stickers pack (ref CT38).

  3. Fold a piece of white paper 14cm x 20cm in half and attach to the inside of the card for your message.

Project 2

  1. Cut a piece of white card approximately 9.5cm x 13.5cm and stick centrally onto the front of a green A6 card blank. Next cut a piece of green card approximately 8.5cm x 12.5cm and stick centrally on top of the white piece.

  2. With the card horizontally in front of you (landscape) attach three foam chicks stickers and two foam eggs stickers as seen in the picture. Next add some mini foam flowers stickers to the corners of the card and to decorate the eggs as shown. I used the
Chicks foam stickers pack (ref CT46)
and the Mini Flowers foam stickers pack (ref CT6).

  3. Fold a piece of white paper 14cm x 20cm in half and attach to the inside of the card for your message.

Project 3

  1. Cut a piece of white card approximately 8.5cm square and stick onto the front of an orange A6 card blank about 1cm down from the top. Next cut a piece of orange card approximately 8cm square and stick centrally on top of the white piece.

  2. Create your design in the framed square using the
Easter Bunnies 3D foam stickers (ref CT44)
    .

  3. Cut a piece of white card 6cm x 2.5cm and add an Easter greeting in the centre, leaving room for a carrot at each side! Attach your greeting to your card below your main design.

  4. Fold a piece of white paper 14cm x 20cm in half and attach to the inside of the card for your message.

Remember to decorate the envelopes as well to make your work extra special!
